When crafting this product we wanted to make a special edition product that had all of our best ingredients plus a little extra. All of our Flower-Power oils are made from a high quality MCT oil base. Then we add in equal amounts of the remaining base oils. In each bottle there is 20mL of MCT oil and 5.5mL of the other oils. This was important to us because others use cheaper oils as a base, but our goal is to provide a high quality, effective product. The 24-Karat Gold Oil contains emu oil, squalane oil, sweet almond oil, rosehip oil, marula oil, vitamin E oil, argan oil, 24-karat gold (in solution), a blend of essential oils specially formulated to improve skin health and appearance, dried flowers and 24-karat gold foil. This beauty contains frankincense, ylang ylang, rose, rosemary, jasmine and calendula. Frankincense can help reduce the signs of aging and acne. Ylang ylang helps with healing, reduces breakouts and is a natural anti-inflammatory. Rose is high in vitamin C and E which can help stimulate collagen production and improve the signs of aging. It’s also a natural hydrator, and along with rosehip oil, they have an overall anti-inflammatory effect. Rosemary is a natural antimicrobial and helps to balance the skin. Jasmine improves overall elasticity and reduces fine lines. Finally, calendula is a natural soother, healer and prevents irritation. The base oils have their own benefits too. Emu oil is a great wrinkle reducer and does wonders for sun-damaged skin. Squalane is a light, non-greasy oil that helps retain moisture and can neutralize sun damage. Almond oil has natural anti-fungal properties and helps repair the moisture barrier. Rosehip oil is another anti-fungal oil, with additional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Marula oil is very moisturizing and non-irritating and helps maintain the skin’s moisture barrier. Vitamin E oil helps to treat acne scars and dark spots. Finally, the star of this oil, 24-karat gold! Applying gold to the skin has numerous benefits. It has anti-inflammatory properties, anti-bacterial, helps psoriasis, treats wrinkles, fights free radicals. This is a personal favorite for everyone who has tried it thus far, and with the addition of gold foil, it’s quite dramatic and looks great too!
